Living Too Fast, Too Slow

As is always the case, we are back in the in-between and the what's next stage. I've come off this marathon relatively positive but physically kind of beat up. My shoulder still hurts and my left leg was always a little iffy this build so I'm taking this time to actually try and focus on feeling better. As I keep trying to tell myself, I don't want to feel this way and so, when I'm bored with the work, I want to remember that. I also want to remember how my poor legs felt those last 8 miles of Maine and try to avoid that.

So, for now, I'm trying to keep the cardio normal with biking, elliptical and running all mixed in as I gear up for a likely turkey trot while adding in easy "runes" strengthen two times a week. I often find I try to go head first all in with new things and burn out, so just keeping the add ons easy, I'm hoping I can keep them around for the next build.

I also really do need to focus on morning wake-ups. My work days are just Too Much to rely on these days on having the energy at the end. I'm going to be tired if I wake up at 5am or 6am so I guess let's wake up up at 5a and get some stuff done.

As for what's next, I'm thinking of trying my hand at Bayshore again and, like Iv'e said before, really going for it this time around. I think spring training is a better fit for me and I'm hopeful I can put in some additional work this go after a few "easier" blocks. We shall see. It is still early.
